A New Era in Radiator Central Heating has Arrived

The Way Forward Water at high temperature is
corrosive, especially when it contains added chemicals such as chlorine
and acids - the legacy of excessive use of fertilisers and pesticides.
The oxygen dissolved in the water reacts with the metal components of
the heating system, such as radiators, pipes and fittings, to form corrosion
or to deposit scale. |
The Mixed Heating System
|
IPPEC has pioneered the mixed heating system of Pexapipe radiator connection on first floor and Pexatherm underfloor heating on ground floor as far back as 1988. This has many advantages. The high cost of installation of UFH in timber floors, commonly found on first floors, makes radiators attractive upstairs. The quick response time of radiators and towel rails gives the heat required in the morning and in the evening. The concept of the mixed system can be used when Pexatherm UFH is introduced into a new extension while the existing building is heated with radiators.
