Pexapipe system details

The PEXAPIPE Rings

There are several rings in the design of Pexapipe advanced plumbing system.

The Secondary Ring
This first ring is where the PEX pipe connects to all the fittings from the secondary manifold located, say, in a bathroom. Water flows on both sides of the ring ensuring equally good flow at all outlets. This ring is only used in large bathrooms and commercial kitchens.
The Primary Ring
The second ring is where all the secondary manifold are connected together in a ring fashion to give flow to the manifolds in both directions. This ring is often used on first floor to connect several bathrooms and achieve good flow to all of them. there is no need for this ring on ground floor often.

Hot Water Circulation
The final ring is the secondary circulation of hot water back to the cylinder with the aid of a pump.  This is done by connecting the furthest manifold or outlet to the bronze pump and its manifold at the cylinder. PEX pipes from the furthest points on each floor is returned to this manifold. The bronze pump returns water to the cylinder at a centre tapping in the side of the cylinder.

The final result - real advanced plumbing

The benefits of Pexapipe Rings
There are no joints between any outlet and the manifold when using flexible PEX pipe.
There are no dead legs. Water flow in all parts of pipe when outlet is open.
Instant hot water at the tap, shower or bath.
