The above solar hot water schematic shows the solar panels on the roof connected to the cylinder lower coil - yellow pipes. The upper cylinder coil is connected to the boiler below the cylinder - orange pipes. The red pipe at the top of the cylinder supplies the domestic hot water in the property. The blue expansion vessels is required for the unvented cylinder while the red expansion vessel is required for the solar heating circuit. Finally secondary circulation pipe in orange with a green pump is shown towards the top of the cylinder.
