Thanks for your letter dated 2nd October (received last week) advising me of the approved installers. In fact, someone at Ippec had already rung me with their number.
They were able to fix my heating system, which is now working very well, and I am very grateful to them, and you for supplying their details. Thanks very much. F. Lewis, Devon.

The PEXATHERM Module UFH systems
Ideal for walls and ceilings - heated or chilled

A unique high performance system, providing an excellent solution for embeded heating and cooling

Introduction
The Pexatherm Module
system (plastic panel) is ideal for existing buildings with limited floor to ceiling height. It is a high performance system suitable for suspended and floated timber floors. They are ideal for conservatories, bathrooms, kitchens etc.
The heat ouput per sq. m is comparable with the Pexatherm pipe-in-screed systems for solid floor. This is because the heating water is spread throughout the panel giving even heat output across the whole surface.
System Design
The Pexatherm Module
system (plastic panel) is very versatile. Variable quantity of plates is specified dependant on heat required. The modules can be installed in walls and ceilings if floor space is not available. The modules in the ceiling can be filled with chilled water for summer cooling. See newsletters.

The Package
The package include right and left handed module panels in one size 1000 x 400 x 33 mm. Each module includes an insulation jacket on one side. An elbow set is supplied to connect the modules to each other. The delivery pipe connects the first and the last module to the UFH manifold. All other system components are the same as in other Pexatherm UFH systems.

Example projects
The modules are used often in chilled ceilings application in offices and homes. They are light and therefore easy to install in ceiling and walls compared to pipes.
They are often used in bathrooms and extensions too as well as in first floors. The modules are used behind timber cladded ceilings to reduce the damage caused by humidity in swimming pool areas.
The panel modules are also used in ceilings and / or walls as supplementary heat in areas of high heat loss, when the floor output is not sufficient and when surface embedded heating is necessary.
Welding tool
We hire the module welding tool. This heat fusion tool welds the modules to elbows and delivery pipe forming a strong and an integral underfloor heating system. The Pexatherm module system can be used along side other Pexatherm UFH systems, and connects to the same UFH manifold.
