PEXATHERM UFH Systems – The widest choice.

The PEXATHERM Pipe-in-Rail UFH system is suitable for any type of floor.

There are several Pexatherm underfloor heating systems to choose.

Introduction
The Pexatherm Pipe-in-Rail system can be used on any floor and with any type of insulation. It is used in commercial and industrial projects. No mesh is required for either the pipe in rail or pipe in staple systems.

System Design
The PEX pipe is laid in a 'zigzag' pattern in the Pexatherm Pipe-in-Rail system. The pipe is clipped in the rail which is notched at 50 mm intervals. Rails for PEX16, 17, and 20 mm are available.
The PIR system is solid ground floor, joisted floor with 'pug' in between, floated floors and sometime in suspended timber floor.

Installation
The Pexatherm Pipe-in-Rail system is often used on solid ground floor on ordinary floor grade insulation. The lightweight rail is much easier to put down than a wire mesh and the PEX pipe is quickly and easily clipped unto the rail
Example installation
As an example of the Pexatherm pipe-in-rail package is often used in commercial buildings as well as in domestic dwellings.

System Components
The components of the Pexatherm pipe-in-rail package. All components are the same as the pipe in staple system except that the pipe fixing is by plastic rail to the bare floor insulation (polystyrene or polyurethane grade) covered with PE sheet. The floor insulation is not included in the package and can be supplied separately.

Rail Fixings
IPPEC supplies a full range of pipe fixings. The plastic rail is available for 16 and 20 mm od pipes and for standard PEX and multilayer pipes. The anchor clip shown on the right is available with the rails for holding down the pipe when looped. We also provide staples as an alternative to the anker clip. See Pexatherm Pipe in Staple system.

Insulation
IPPEC supplies floor insulation in several thickness and different material as well as edge (perimeter) insulation strip for the above systems when used in solid floor.
