Suspended Timber Floor Model Floor Construction Floor Coverings

Metal heat diffusion grooved plates resting on joists. Insulation with reflective foil below them. Battens between joists supporting insulation. PEX or Pex Alu Pex in plates grooves. Floorboard laid directly on plates with PE sheet in between.

All floor finishes can be used with the Pexatherm UFH plate system. Carpet, ceramic, PVC tiles, over floorboard or solid and laminate wood over pipe in plate system.
Floated Timber Floor Model
Floor grade insulation on solid floor (or block and beam) between battens which are supporting diffusion plates and floorboards. All floor finishes can be used with the Pexatherm UFH plate system. Carpet, ceramic, PVC tiles on floorboard or solid and laminate wood over plates.
Floor Insulation 
IPPEC supplies floor insulation in several thickness and different material. We also supply thin 5 mm PE foam sheets to use under hard insulation on uneven floors.
Grooved insulation boards in PU material 45 mm thick are used under plates in floated floors. These or other insulation can also be used under plates in suspended floors.
