IPPEC's new building
Our new building recently constructed uses Pexatherm underfloor heating on all floors. In the warehouse, show room and offices. Passive solar roof heating in the warehouse and chilled ceilings in showroom and offices. The 5000 L ground heat storage tank is heated by the solar roof which then provides warm water to thge underfloor heating system. There are also solar panels for hjeating the hot water heating. excess heat from those panels is diverted to the ground stoarge heating tank.
New Electronic Sensor Taps
In a further effort to save energy and scare resources, IPPEC is offering battery operated sensor tap. These will automaticall turn on when the hands are under the tap and will switch off as soon as the hands are withdrawn. The elegant chrome single spout tap are to be used with pre-mixed water already adjusted to the right temperature. They are suitable for care homes and can be used in many applications including private dwellings. Please see the introductory price in the season's collection in our Online shop.
New Electronic Pexatherm Mixer
A new servo motor / mixer valve has been introduced for 2008. The valve is the well known 3 and 4 way high capacity brass mixers from IPPEC. While the servo motor is the familiar SM 4 unit with a difference. There is now an adjustable setting on the mixer for water temperature in the floor and sensor. Combined with the MZ II T the valve gives the ultimate in control for the Pexatherm underfloor heating system.
New Underfloor heating system - The Pexatherm thin system
IPPEC offered innovative solution for underfloor heating systems since 1986 and now we introduce the Pexatherm Thin System for existing floors. The system is designed for limited floor thickness and dispenses with the need of thick screed layer. Instead the high performance thin insulation board incorporates the heat diffusion foil.
Only low thickness covering is required. This makes the system ideal for extensions, conservatories and existing rooms. See the thin system in the Pexatherm UFH section for more technical details and in the online shop under UFH package prices.

New compact mixer valve / pump set
IPPEC brought you the low temperature valve set for small systems to keep the cost of underfloor heating down. Now we bring you the compact set of mixer manifold and pump for small systems. Those unit is ideal for extensions conservatories and systems in existing properties. One side of the pack connects to the flow and return of the boiler or existing radiator system and the other side to the new underfloor heating circuit.
The new set is now incorporated in the extension package in our online shop. And yes the price of the package has come down. thanks to this new technology.

Save money all year round with Solatherm kits
IPPEC offers from stock Solar systems in kits of 2 and 3 panels. The Solatherm kits are complete with solar pump set and solar controller. Don't forget we supply twin coils unvented solar cylinders in 300 L capacity from stock. Find out more by visiting the Solar section on this site.
New TopTank twin coils cylinders
Innovation is the hallmark of IPPEC. We introduced twin coils unvented cylinders sometime ago in 300 and 500 L and now we are introducing the same cylinder in 200 L capacity. This cylinder has been requested by our customers with limited space. The cylinders are supplied 2 X 3 kW immersion heater for the first time.
This way they can be used as an electric heat source for UFH and central heating. They are also used with solar panel heating and with multi-heat source (cooking stoves).
Another innovation and solution option is to heat towel rails by the top coil. The heating water with inhibitor in this coil solves the towel rail corrosion problem. The towel rails are no longer continuously filled with corrosive fresh hot water rich with oxygen. See the Pexapipe section on cylinders.

New Upgraded Multizoner 0 meets customer demands
The Multizoners are very popular with our customers. They asked us if we can produce a unit that caters for the smaller property and for extension. This unit controls 4 zones and fires the boiler independently for each zone. The circuits could be heating zones or hot water or a combination of both. The fused MZ 0 has all the standard features of the MZ family of controls.
 Some of the components have been upgraded for 2008. These included larger terminals and the change to a standard type fuse as well as more power full output transistors.

Warmed or Chilled Ceilings

We supply ceiling heating and cooling using the PEXATHERM modules system. These warm water plastic panels have been popular as underfloor panels for retrofit and in suspended timber floors. They are renowned for their high heat output, ease of installation and durability. Heated ceilings have faster heat-up time compared to floor heating. There is no insulating carpet to contend with. In summer the cooled ceiling surface causes gentle convection to give comfortable cooling without the noise and draughts caused with conventional air-conditioning. By the way PEXATHERM modules are often fitted in walls too. Bathrooms and conservatories are good applications for wall heating.
