Style with IPPEC's underfloor heating system
The millhouse in Scotland was converted to a stylish modern home. The contemporary furniture designed by interior designer Room2 complement and add colour to the neutral pallet of this charming house. Natural stone and wood were used to full effect to give the interior that cosy warm glow. Pexatherm underfloor heating gave the actual warmth without intruding visibly in any way. That's style that many in the self build industry and discerning builders are aiming for.

Key heritage site uses space saving Pexatherm
Space was at a premium for the Wordsworth Trust. They wanted to convert another cottage into a museum at Grasmere in the Lake District. Pexatherm underfloor heating was ideal for the preservation of display items and offered considerable energy saving. Wall space is freed and the gentle warmth adds to the visitors' enjoyment. Wordsworth never had it so good. Another site of historic interest used the Pexatherm system. Our underfloor heating of Dale museum in Yorkshire was controlled by the Delta weather compensator for extra energy savings.

An Elizabethan period home in the heart of Shakesperean country
You would be forgiven if you thought you had been transported back to the 17th century when you enter this house. Even the furniture is of that period. The restoration of this listed home is so authentic that wrought iron nails have been used for door handles. The lights are concealed from view and the frameless double glazing is sunk in the oak frames.
Not very far from Anne Hathaway's cottage near Stratford, this house is warmed with the luxurious Pexatherm underfloor heating under original stone slab some 4 to 6" thick.
Pexapipe advanced plumbing is also concealed to feed state of the art taps modern unvented hot water system and to connect the condensing gas boiler to the underfloor heating manifolds. Needless to say the house benefits from the Delta advanced weather compensated control to give maximum energy saving without compromising comfort. If only the Bard could have had such luxury.

The House on the Hill
Building a house on the hills of Scotland outside Edinburgh required a high performance underfloor heating system. Mr and Mrs Fried chose the Pexatherm UFH with Delta weather compensation to provide the high levels of comfort they seeked. The boiler was situated away from the house. This would have caused a problem if it was not supplied with continuous insulated PEX primary pipe from IPPEC's range of Pexapipe plumbing. The result of their hard work is a comfortable house with one of the best views in Britain.

In the Heart of the Warwickshire countryside
Only IPPEC's wide range of products and know-how could handle such a project of advanced heating and plumbing systems. Pexatherm systems were used in this large property comprising the equivalent of 5 residences. Pexatherm pipe in rail as well as Pexatherm pipe in plate were used with Pexapipe primaries and Pexapipe plumbing.

Pexatherm temperature control were used in conjunction with Viessman boiler controls.

An estate with a £1.4 million worth of houses, 4 out of 5 sold via the internet. Pexatherm underfloor heating to the groundfloor was fitted in each unit plus 7 Quickframe bathroom and toilets! The builder Morgan Restorations used many more Quickframe units and at least 9 further Pexatherm underfloor heating systems. The coach house was of particular interest. The building is around 5000 sq ft size with Pexatherm underfloor heating around the indoor pool. Many builders are becoming aware of the advantages of IPPEC products and specially the Pexatherm underfloor heating system.
Pexatherm UFH for timber frame buildings
The Pexatherm underfloor heating was laid in the slab before this timber frame extension was erected. The PEXc pipe was tied to a mesh on high density polystyrene and with edge insulation around the perimeter to reduce heat losses to the outside.

Court Order
Here is how a dilapidated barn can be turned into a light and airy open plan home with an internal court yard. One of the finalists in the Daily Telegraph award for 2001, the 3000 sq. ft. barn in the Buckinghamshire country side has the Pexatherm underfloor heating. It was a natural choice when there is so much glazing and attractive exposed ceiling. Our congratulations to Mr and Mrs Rowles.

Dreams Do Come true
Excerpts from article by Heather Rose of the Daily Express
When Michael Anderson and Lucy Addison discovered a thirties back-to-the-land Department of Agriculture small holding in Kilbrachan, Renfrewshire, they knew the place had the potential to become their dream homeNow, they have successfully turned their ideas into reality. They have carried out a substantial extension and renovation programme at this smallholding, transforming it into a high specification, luxurious home.Admittedly they have expert knowledge. Michael is director of Anderson Floorwarming, IPPEC Scottish System House, while Lucy is an architect with CDA Glasgow.
Michael and Lucy’s project consisted of a small cottage with a barn at the back, sitting in about an acre. To preserve the layout of the original smallholding they renovated the barn as living accommodation linking it to the cottage by means of an extension housing hall, kitchen, utility and cloakroom, and forming a sheltered courtyard.

London conversion
The Sunridge house is converted into tasteful and luxurious apartments. The result of imagination and using the right product is comfort and style. Pexatherm underfloor heating used everywhere including this delightful attic penthouse.

The heating is by Pexatherm underfloor heating on the ground floor and Peapipe radiator connections on the rest of the floors. With a German condensing boiler this house 200 sq. m floor area achieves excellent fuel savings.
