"Frame mounted complete heating and hot water generators solve the installation issue, leaving the contractor and the architect to choose the size of the boiler and hot water unvented cylinder."

Assembly line technology
The Quickheat assembly is a significant breakthrough in the heating and plumbing systems and in the mechanical operation of the building. The units are assembled from advanced equipment and components. The boilers (from 30 to 68 kW) are high efficiency stainless steel condensing boilers, with modulating burners for variable output dependent on outside weather compensation controller for maximum efficiency and fast response time.

The high performance unvented cylinder (200-500 L) is heated on priority basis to utilise the full output of the boiler without oversizing it. The full boiler output is diverted automatically to the cylinder whenever hot water is required. The large capacity coil in the cylinder ensures quick cylinder recovery. All other components are of the highest quality. The system is pressure tested before dispatch with the assembler’s initial and check attached to each Quickheat unit.

Mr. Namih at IPPEC Heating investigates the usefulness of underfloor heating systems and suggests solutions for the under-staffed contractor regarding its installation.

New regulationd for multiple temperature zones, the need for energy and space saving, demand for mains pressure hot water and ever increasing sophistication in heating systems makes installation more difficult for contractors. Add to that the shortage of skilled labour, then builders and plumbers shy away from advanced heating systems, such as modern underfloor heating. Even if they are able to install the underfloor heating pipes in the floor and connect to a manifold, how do they connect the underfloor heating to the boiler or to an existing radiator system and boiler?

The way forward
Enter IPPEC with its Quickheat solution. These frame mounted complete heating and hot water generators solve the installation issue leaving the contractor and the architect to choose the size of boiler and hot water unvented cylinder. All the necessary mixers, pumps, motorised valves, safety kits, discharge and secondary circulation are plumbed and ready to be connected to the rest of the heating plumbing. The wiring to the boiler, valves, pumps and their sensors is included using IPPEC’s versatile Multizoner wiring centre offering multi-channel control for space heating and hot water. Simply connect, plug, fill and run.

Anywhere versatility
Despite their high output and versatility, the Quickheat units are designed to be as compact as possible. The popular QH30 is 600 mm deep and can fit among cupboards in the utility room. The Quickheat units can be placed in the garage or even in their own boiler room. Mains pressure hot water means that the Quickheat unit can be placed on any floor including basements.
